Created in 2007, the ArcelorMittal Luxembourg Foundation supports projects with a strong social, cultural and environmental impact in the country. True to its values of solidarity and responsibility, it works alongside local actors to promote inclusion, education, culture and sustainable development. Committed to a better future, the Foundation reflects ArcelorMittal’s attachment to its roots in Luxembourg and its communities.

In line with this approach, the Foundation is launching the AFLAA – ArcelorMittal Foundation Luxembourg Art Award, an art prize dedicated to street art, organised for the first time in Luxembourg. The competition aims to support young emerging artists while promoting the country’s industrial heritage through socially engaged urban creations.

With the AFLAA, the Foundation is reaffirming its role as a cultural player by transforming industrial sites into open-air canvases and giving contemporary art a new visibility in the public space.

As a partner of the project, the Galerie Go Art, supported by the ArcelorMittal Luxembourg Foundation, will host the AFLAA award ceremony.

It will also offer visibility to the winning artists through dedicated exhibition, thus extending the artistic momentum of the competition within an iconic venue of the Luxembourg cultural scene.
