This competition is being organised for the first time by ArcelorMittal Foundation Luxembourg, a public utility foundation registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number G178.

This award aims to promote the emerging art scene while enhancing industrial heritage through artistic interventions in public spaces.

Each selected artist will be invited to create a mural, consisting of two side-by-side window-sized spaces, directly on a building owned by ArcelorMittal.

These creations must offer a symbolic opening to another world, in connection with the proposed theme.

Location for the 2025 Edition:
25 window-shaped spaces on a former industrial building located in Esch-sur-Alzette

Following the review of applications by the organisers, a total of twelve artists will be selected to take part in this creative journey.

Three prizes will be awarded:

  • Jury Prize: €7.000 + trophy + exhibition at Galerie GO ART
  • Public Prize: €3.000 + trophy + exhibition at Galerie GO ART
  • ArcelorMittal Employees’ Prize: €3.000 , trophy + exhibition at Galerie GO ART
